1982 LHD Range Rover Classic 4 Door with A/C. Stunning, Never Registered & Unrepeatable!
We are delighted to offer this stunning very early 4 door Range Rover Classic which we are marketing on behalf of a client. The car was built on 19th January 1982 destined for British Leyland, Holland where it was dispatched to on 15th March 1982.
We understand the car was specially ordered with air conditioning by a British chap, Mr Berry of Battersea, London who exported the car from Holland to his farm in Switerland where it was kept and used lightly for the next 28 years but never Swiss registered.
Upon the passing of Mr Berry the family repatriated the vehicle to the UK and it was sold to our client in 2010.
Over the next 8 years the car was painstakingly and carefully restored - every item in the car has has been either repaired, refurbished or replaced. This car is full of impossible to obtain parts including a perfect 'Teddy Bear' interior with very good gold carpets - the last time we sold seats like this was three years ago and they cost £8,000, now goodness knows how much they would cost if you could find them.
With well restored two door prices now excellerating to well over £100,000, in our opinion these early four door cars will be the next to increase strongly in price over the next few years as they offer a lot of similarities to two door classics with added practicality of the additional doors.
