1971 Range Rover Classic 'Suffix A', 2 Door which was one of the first 2150 cars produced.

Every Kingsley Restoration undergoes a rigorous programme of examination and rectification. We start by fully dismantling every single nut and bolt from the car with all the corrosion in the body being cut out and repair sections seamlessly and beautifully butt welded (not patched).

Once the repairs had been made to the body shell we then protected all the exposed areas (the underside and external sides of the shell with the latest rubberised anti-corrosion preparation (as used on modern cars) and then painted over in the original body colour.

We blasted and refurbished the chassis and original axles prior to finishing in Rustbusters Award Winning Epoxy Mastic 121. Epoxy Mastic is a high build, high solids two pack (a base and hardener). Its finish is as hard as iron but unlike normal paint or powder coatings, it flexes with the steel. Epoxy Mastic will not flake, peel or blister - even under water. Epoxy Mastic 121 resists oils, salt water and mechanical damage.

We restored the running gear fully, fitting new bushes, bearings, brake disc, pads and callipers all round, new fuel lines and new brake lines. The engine and gearbox have been thoroughly checked and as a bonus, the car is fitted with a highly desirable original Fairly overdrive.

The outer body panels have been straightened by our master panel beater prior to being finished off the shell in the original Tuscan blue. All the panels have been treated internally to the same rubberised treatment as the body shell to slow corrosion prior to being painted inside and out in the original Tuscan blue paint.

The interior is period correct, finished in Palomino PVC to the same design as the original with the correct gold transmission carpet and Palomino rubber floor mats.

Stunning condition throughout - getting more and more difficult to replicate today, this car would make a fantastic investment and wonderful addition to any collection.
