1994 Range Rover Classic LSE — Fully Restored

We are delighted to offer this stunning, super rare Range Rover 4.2 Vogue LSE Soft Dash Brooklands which we have looked after and known for many years. This Range Rover has been serviced by Kingsley for 9 years. supported by a service history and all the old MOT certificates.

Range Rover Classics which are not suffering from serious corrosion are becoming harder and harder to find. Even cars that look in good condition often have corrosion in the inner/outer sills, the front inner wings, the boot floor, the rear cross member, body mounting points, and the rear arches - it's a story that repeats unless the car has been properly restored and 'future proofed'.

This Range Rover LSE has been the subject of a full-body restoration and now has zero corrosion! We started by completely dismantling the car, removing all the doors, wings, bonnets, and tailgates searching for corrosion, the works were undertaken including:

• New N/S Inner & Outer Sill
• New O/S Inner & Outer Rear Wheel Arches
• New N/S Inner & Outer Rear Wheel Arches
• New O/S Boot Floor Side Support
• New N/S Boot Floor Side Support
• New Boot Floor
• New Rear Cross Member

We then painted the car, by painting a fully de-assembled car, we can reproduce a factory finish leaving a consistent paint finish over all of the car, without any dry areas on the rear wheel arches, the under-bonnet areas of the wings, the decker panel, or around any trims, handles, etc.

Once all the repairs and paintwork were completed we cleaned, rubberised all of the high impact areas and waxed all of the underside, injected every panel and the internals all the chassis sections and sills which are susceptible to corrosion with cavity wax so she will last for many years to come - I stress there is now zero corrosion on this car.

Even though mechanically she was in first-class condition and without fault after our 160 point check, we still performed a Major Service on her, changing all fluids (refilling the engine with 10w40 semi synth), replaced all filters (Inc. the decker panel filter), all 8 spark plugs, the distributor, all ignition leads, the aux drive belt, flushed and refilled the cooling system with the correct OE anti-freeze, replaced the front hub seals, all wheel bearings, the front driveshaft flange gaskets, replaced the front driving lamps and headlamps and finally cleaned and re-gassed the air conditioning system which now blows ice cold.

Many Range Rovers from this period have been converted to coils (with varying degrees of success!) as it is thought that the air system is unreliable - this is partially true as the airbags and systems are now 20 years old and the rubber airbags crack but when new the air suspension is sublimely comfortable and operates beautifully so we have gone to the expense of fitting a complete brand new suspension system including four new original equipment Dunlop airbags and a brand new air compressor, new uprated Bilstein shocks and new bump stops were fitted all round so she will provide reliable and supremely comfortable service for the foreseeable future.

She drives beautifully tight and everything works exactly as you would expect (or hope!).

Internally she is immaculate, we retrimmed the seats in a combination of black Nappa leather and Tartan to the seats and door panel. The roof lining was replaced, all the electrics work 100% correctly and the LSE benefits from an insane audio system with a subwoofer, Bluetooth streaming, hands-free calling and a DAB radio.

Finally, we fully ceramic coated the paintwork to protect the paintwork against scratches and scuffs.

Soft Dash Range Rovers LSE are becoming collectible in the same way as their 2 door counterparts have and they are now one of the most desirable models.

This Range Rover LSE is spending the shooting season with Belvoir Castle but is available for viewing by appointment.

Inspections are actively encouraged and viewing would be my pleasure but please only by appointment near Witney in Oxfordshire. What we are offering is an immaculate car that is in a similar condition to a two or three-year-old vehicle and will, if looked after only appreciate in value.

The cherished plate ORL 54 is not included in the sale.
