Introduction
We are pleased to introduce the Kingsley KA — our entry model four-door developed to give you a usable rust-free Range Rover Classic designed as a solid foundation for later enhancements such as Kingsley’s interiors, re-engineered engines, suspension systems, and audio systems.
We start with either a Kingsley-provided doner car (at additional cost) or your own Range Rover Classic (subject to inspection for acceptance at Kingsley at our Oxfordshire base).
Any doner car supplied by Kingsley will be a fixed price restoration, supplied with a new MOT. For client-supplied Range Rovers any additional items required to pass the MOT or mechanical items will be quoted separately.
Body & Chassis
We initially dismantle the car by removing the front wings, bonnet, decker panel, doors, rear wings, and tailgates before removing the interior, carpets, seats, door cards, roof lining and windscreen so that we can locate all corrosion.
Within the quoted price we replace or seamlessly repair the following structural items:
- New Kingsley O/S front inner wing
- New Kingsley N/S front inner wing
- Seamless repair to O/S footwell
- Seamless repair to N/S footwell
- New Kingsley O/S inner and outer sill with new Kingsley closing panel
- New Kingsley N/S inner and outer sill with new Kingsley closing panel
- New O/S inner wheel arch with strengthened seatbelt mounting point
- New O/S outer wheel arch
- New N/S inner wheel arch with strengthened seatbelt mounting point
- New N/S outer wheel arch
- New Boot floor (not inc any floor supports)
- New rear cross member
- New upper tailgate
Once the bodyshell has been repaired we protect all of the new metal with a rubberised stone chip, seam seal and repaint as required (including painting the A, B & C posts) before finally protecting the underside of the car with a layer of Dinitrol.
Paintwork
Whilst the structural bodyshell restoration is taking place, the paint shop is preparing the panels for Kingsley’s high-quality paint which is also included in the price.
Any restoration from damage or corrosion of the outer body panels will be quoted separately and in addition to the KA deal price.
We repaint the car in the original colour but we can also, at additional cost, repaint the car in any metallic or solid colour of your choice.
Exterior Trim & Lighting
We refit the original windscreen with a new windscreen rubber, fit the new upper tailgate and all of the previously removed panels as well as the following items:
- Refurbished black front and rear bumpers with refurbished bumper end caps
- Refurbished front and rear indicator lenses
- New headlights

- Refurbished front grill
