1991 RHD Range Rover CSK No.38 3.9 Auto
Description
Range Rover CSK's were the final UK incarnation of the '2 Door' which were named after Charles Spencer King, the 'father' of the Range Rover Classic.
A limited number run of 200, individually numbered cars was released in September 1991 as a celebration of 20 years production. Mechanically, CSK's were equipped with ABS and for the first time, anti-roll bars which improved handling.
Cosmetically, CSK's were all finished in Beluga black with Sorrel leather, which unlike any other RRC's was perforated. In the cabin, the wood trim was finished in American Oak.
Unfortunately, CSK's inner steel shell corrode horrifically with a shell restoration often costing more than £30,000!
CSK 38 came to us as a part exchange and it was our intention to restore it as a demonstration vehicle, unfortunately a full workshop for the foreseeable future has meant that we are struggling to find the time ands feel the car would be best in the hands of someone that will cherish it.
Cosmetically, the car is in presentable order which could easily be taken to the next level by the next owner, the interior is original and in lovely condition and whilst it hasn't been restored, it will be fully serviced post sale and come with a full MOT - there are a number of known faults (ABS and alternator) which will also be rectified.
These cars are becoming rarer by the day with some examples recently selling for north of 100K
This cherished plate "H19 CSK" will also come with the car.
